“Recently, I received a 100% rating on the Maine State Employees Union legislative scorecard for 2013. The MSEA represents more than 15,000 public and private sector workers throughout Maine.
The ratings are based on seven votes that affect Maine workers, including the state budget, overriding the governor’s veto of the budget, restoring affordable mail-order prescriptions, two measures defending bargaining rights, expanding health care under the Affordable Care Act and increasing the state’s minimum wage. Maine depends on the strength of the workforce and I’m proud to stand up for Maine’s hard-working families.”
