Justin Chenette Spirit of Service Scholarship
Picture
The Justin Chenette Spirit of Service Scholarship, presented by the Saco Bay Center for Civic Engagement, is awarded to a graduating senior from Thornton Academythat has demonstrated a passion for helping others, strong leadership skills, and has worked to improve the community outside of the school’s campus. The scholarship is named after Saco’s State Representative who is a 2009 graduate of TA and was actively involved in both community and campus service activities as a student.

$500, a state pin, and a legislative letter of recognition will be awarded to the student who best represents the goal of the scholarship; to encourage and assist the next generation of Saco leaders in achieving their educational objectives. Once selected, the recipient will be required to send a first semester transcript with a GPA of 2.0 or better and proof of second semester enrollment to TA.
