Justin has been featured in local and state newspapers such as the Portland Press Herald, Journal Tribune, Courier, Bangor Daily News, Kennebec Journal, Sun-Chronicle, and the Caledonian-Record as well as interviews on WCSH 6, WGME 13, MPBN, and CTN 5 for his highly-acclaimed broadcasting and journalistic skills.

In 2009, the Student Television Network named Justin Chenette the National Student Broadcast Journalist of the Year based on his extensive work in the broadcasting field. Along with the designation, Justin was awarded a scholarship, a speaking engagement, and an internship through the organization.
